You are not your illness

You are not your worries, doubts and fears,

It is all merely a thread in the fabric of your life’s tapestry,

Loss, upset, shifts and tears,

All simply a part of your history,

One that is ever changing and evolving

One that our future is still deciding,

You are not a failure, just the very opposite,

It isn’t a chink in your armour or something that you lack,

You simply have to know and trust that we have all got your back
